Fast admission and emergency prioritisation using the SATS (South African Triage Scale), adapted to Cameroonian realities.
Status: in testing — not yet part of the official pilot deployment.
The Registration & Triage module manages the very first contact between a patient and the healthcare facility. It replaces paper admission registers and improvised queues with a structured, fast and prioritised flow.
Triage follows the SATS framework: each patient receives an urgency colour (red, orange, yellow, green, blue) that determines the maximum time to care. The decision is recorded, time-stamped and available to the clinical team.
In Cameroonian healthcare facilities, overcrowded emergency departments are a leading cause of delayed care. Correctly applied triage saves lives: it ensures critical cases are seen first.
The module keeps a record of every triage decision, enabling process quality audits and identification of bottlenecks.
