Target of 7 days of autonomy without internet, with automatic synchronisation. Built for facilities where connectivity is intermittent.
Status: in development — offline autonomy is undergoing technical validation.
In many parts of Cameroon and Africa, internet is intermittent: outages of several hours, even days, are common. A hospital information system that stops with the network is unusable in the field.
COA adopts an offline-first architecture: data is entered and stored locally on the facility's devices, then synced to the cloud when connectivity returns. Clinical activity never stops.
A local database on the facility's server keeps all data, without depending on the cloud.
Consultations, prescriptions, billing: everything remains possible with no connection at all.
As soon as the network returns, data is securely synced, with no manual action.
Resolution mechanisms prevent duplicates and data loss during synchronisation.
The 7-day autonomy is a technical target under validation. This page will be updated with the results of real-world tests carried out in Cameroonian conditions.
